Rest in Peace Roger Ebert

Today the world has lost the most renowned and arguably the most important film critic of all time. Though I can’t say I always agree with his opinions, I always find his reviews well-written and insightful. The world has lost an interesting voice and a man who has served as an inspiration to myself and film critics the world over. His presence will be missed in the world of movies, but his influence will live on for years to come.

  1. I don’t think there’s much argument that he was the most important film critic of all time. If there’s a challenger, it would have been Siskel.

Whoa, this was a surprising post to read. It seems that there will now be movies that wont be seen by him.

Nicely done. And important critic and great writer.

I can’t imagine a world without Ebert’s reviews. He will be missed.
